In 2015 the Queensland chapter of AANSA has expanded to 26 members.
The Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital (Ramsey Health) currently employ 15 PNSA’s to assist at their facility. These PNSA’s can often service 14 lists per week.
The Sunshine Coast will play host to the biannual PNAQ conference this April. Catherine Smith and Natasha Mannion are presenting “A Change in Tide – Rippling from Local to National PNSA” on Friday 17th of April. Their presentation will include results of surveys collated from PNSA’s, Peri-operative Staff and Surgeons practicing at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. It is likely this information will be written up for publishing in the near future.
This year the Annual General Meeting will be held in Brisbane Queensland (August) , location to be confirmed. We hope to include some Trade and Company involvement.
