I Probably have the easiest state to manage as the executive is so motivated and we have regular meetings close to hand I did however work with other key PNSAs nationally with OSSANZ Obesity Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand There are now 5 PNSA working successfully with bariatric surgeons I also joined PNAQ as co education chair which has provided a wonderful platform to work with key staff and provide education to the perioperative nurses The membership at meetings has diminished due to busy schedules and study but the motivation is strong to maintain momentum with recognition of our role
